Social media and negative news
Beyond our working day, most of us will have a routine for checking personal emails, having a look at some what’s app groups, reviewing LinkedIn, checking other social media sites and or news sites
Recently my observation is that there seems to be increase in negative news for various reasons where we may or may not be able to influence
Positive news
Today on checking my personal emails, I came across an updated email from DKMS
For anyone that does not know, DKMS are the world’s largest stem cell donor register
For some you may also be aware of the Anthony Nolan register in the UK
Looking at this email, it brought some positivity to myself that by being on these registers, that I may be able to help a young kid / adult who may be impacted by some form of cancer.
Summary and call to action
On a positive note, we have an opportunity to help others either by joining these registers or by giving blood locally at nearest blood bank.
