Looking back over the last week we can share progress, new blog launched thanks to the support from Willie and the team at Horgabost Media Services thanks.
We went down memory lane of some previous crazy cycles, charity projects and their anniversary dates.
Writing some of the blogs was fun even of one or two of them where a bit wordy and I might be at the risk of a repetitive strain injury lol.
In terms of rehabilitation training, On Thursday evening, I was delighted to advise my physio that this was my sixth consecutive day making sessions of 60 minutes or greater.
Our miracle worker physio was delighted with the progress when I got some treatment last night and we had now agreed that we step that up a little.
For some perspective at the end of July 2023, I was struggling to think about never mind do the couple of ten-minute sessions, so very pleased with that.
If we continue to make progress at current rate then there is a good chance that we may start the virtual cycle to Seville during October, we will keep folks posted.
A few days ago, I let you into a secret about the challenges regarding weight and drew some comparisons, had my “fatbhoytim” weigh in earlier and was down 4 pounds to 262 pounds since last Friday and 12 in total since end of July. Whilst that is good news the downside is I might need to start wearing normal clothes again and less of the nice fitting Celtic training kits
A couple of days ago we had chatted about the Celtic family, I would like to thank Phil Mac Giolla Bháin for taking time out over the last week. To provide some encouragement for the challenge ahead and to help up write a nice piece to help promote the cycle / foundation, where you can read about it here:
Looking forward to the match tomorrow, hoping to get to see some of the new signings playing. On the back of the huge win at snake mountain and expect the place to be buzzing tomorrow.
I am also looking forward to catching up with some of the Seville cycling pals at the game and hoping to get some hydration and dinner later as well.
Hail Hail and thankyou to everyone for their continued encouragement and support.
