In recent days we had referred to “The Road to Seville project.” To give a little but more context of the project objectives:
- Celebrate the team & experience from 2003 of team reaching the final and the positive global cavalcade that this created.
- Promote the awareness of Celtic FC Foundation
- Raise much needed funds to support the different programmes of the Foundation.
To give some insight this related to 34 folks that paid for the trip themselves first, utilised family time to train, before spending 2 plus weeks taking part in the cycle, going through the various physical and mental challenges that this brings.
We are delighted to advise from all the donations (online/offline/gift aid) that the magical figure of 100 K had been reached. Yes 100 K where the foundation will be the benefactor ! We take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated so far.
On Mouldy’s goes to Seville (Virtual cycle) as you know we are gradually working through the rehabilitation work and hope to get started soon on our cycle.
